One of my favorite autumn rituals is taking walks along <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The creek… drinking in the changes I see and hear…. <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Listening to the husky voices of the crows in the oak tree,<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

observing the ochre tinge just at the edges of the leaves<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

and inhaling that distinct scent of change in the air.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It is a wholesome and necessary thing<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

For us to turn again to the earth and in <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The contemplation of her beauties<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

To know of wonder and humility.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Every day we are engaged in a miracle <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Which we don’t even recognize<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

A blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The black, curious eyes of a child…<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our own two eyes… All is a miracle.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
